- Do NOT rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after the treatment and do not receive a facial, get in a
hot tub, a sauna or have serious exercise for 24 hours as well.
- Do NOT lie down for 4 hours after the treatment or spend time bending over (like washing the
floor).
- Be assured that any tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours. If you need to apply
makeup within 4 hours of your treatment, only use a gentle touch to avoid rubbing the treated area.
- Results of your treatment will start in 48 hours, but may take up to 14 days to take full effect.
- I would like to see you for a 2-week follow-up assessment, especially if this was your first
treatment.

This will ensure that we are able to see how YOUR facial muscles reacted to your treatment. If you
require more of the product, to fine-tune or adjust your treatment results, it will be applied during this
appointment, sometimes at an additional cost.

- For medical reasons, your results will be photographed and documented in your confidential
patient file.
- Neuromodulators are a temporary procedure and at first you may find that your treatment results
will last approximately 3-4 months.
However, if you maintain your treatment appointments with the frequency recommended by your
injector, the duration of each treatment may last longer than 4 months. Initially, we like to see our
patients between the 3RD month (12 week) and 4th month (16 week) time period, in order to create
the best clinical response.

- Please ensure that you book 2 week follow-up as well as your next injection appointment before
you leave our office.
